Heide Shotokan Karate-Kai
The Heide Shotokan Karate-Kai is a family orientated club open to adults and children, run by fully qualified instructors. There are 3 sessions 3 times a week:
Little Ninjas (ages 5-7 years) - preparing children in martial arts through well designed lessons and exercises.
Family Karate Classes (ages 8 – 80 years) - general training for all age groups.
Adult Training – just for the grown ups!
The cost for all lessons is €3 and beginners always welcome!

Heide Park Pirate Day
On the 29th May Heide Park are having a Pirate Day in order to hopefully break the previous Guinness World Record of the amount of people dressed as Pirates in any one place at the same time (1670 people). Anyone who goes to Heide Park between 0900 -1100 on the 29th May dressed as a Pirate will be given free entry to enjoy the park and its attractions for the full day.

Hannover Zoo-Yukon Bay opening The major attraction is Henry’s Underwater World in the hull of a wrecked ship. The new Yukon Bay is due to open on the 22nd May. I have contacted the zoo today and they have confirmed that this will be the opening date.
