Introduction

On the Gievenbeck Estate / Area I have approximately 200 Service Married Quarters which comprise of two to four bedroom houses, either detached, semi detached or terraced.

Gievenbeck Village

The Gievenbeck Village a five to ten minute walk for most of the families on the estate, within the village there are numerous shops and amenities, for example:

Oak House

Oak House is our Community House which is situated within the Estate at 50 Billerbeck Weg. This provides a central place for people to meet, relax and have a chat. This facility is placed next to the community play park, which will benefit the younger children

Oxford Barracks

Oxford Barracks is within walking distance also and has a Families NAAFI for your everyday shopping needs.

Gievenbeck Estate Office

The Village   Boelckeweg, Von-Hunefeldweg, Fitzmauriceweg, Torminweg and Kohlweg. This Estate has recently been upgraded by PUMA and consists of B & C type quarters. All have central heating (gas) cable TV (optional by payment) and cellars plus an attic. The area is 1.5 miles away from camp and local amenities. It is also 1 mile from the town centre.  The Estate has two play areas, one for small children and an adventure area for the older kids. There are only 19 garages for this Estate (first come basis).
Wiegandweg This street is all D type (first 7 houses are officer type 4) and is next to York Barracks. Walking distance from all amenities. These quarters have central heating (gas) cable TV (optional by payment) cellars and an attic, all have a garage allocated to each house opposite.
	Lilienthalweg This street consists of all B type quarters with a storeroom that may be used as a 3rd bedroom. All have central heating (gas) cellars and an attic. This street is a short walk to York Barracks and all local amenities.  There are 5 Garages (first come basis).
Whilhelm-Holthausweg This Estate consists of modern C type quarters, the Estate is 1.5 miles away from York Barracks and local amenities. All have central heating (pumped from the local Stadt) cellars and an attic. This Estate is in the heart of the local German community.
