Building at Hohne Station was started in 1934 and completed by 1936. In 1945 it was taken over by British Troop and became a centre for Jewish Refugees. Refurbishment of the camp began in 1950 after the refugees had been re-settled and continues up to today with Project Puma. Further information on the history of the Station can be found at the Garrison Museum .
