Well, we had a successful Country and Western evening recently, and we were even able to get some cash to the Poppy Appeal. At least as important, old friends returned and quite a few new faces turned up. Great to see. Thanks to all the willing volunteers who helped to make it a success.
Now, onwards and upwards!
Friday is a Branch Meeting at 20.00 Hrs, and as usual, a social evening.(as is Saturday)
Bingo is gathering strength on Mondays from 19.30
Volunteers Week is on at present in Hohne Garrison, and we will be present in the Roundhouse Ballroom on Saturday 19.06 from 10.00 Hrs. with an info stand.

We have engaged a Guy called DELRICO who is currently supporting Stevie Wonder on his European Tour, and he will be bringing a partner to entertain us as a Duo.
So, dig out your dancing shoes and come and enjoy some Soul music, Soul food and Soul cocktails??! ( and the same applies to Reggae!)
If you could give me an idea of whether you might attend and numbers, I would be grateful.
I have also made tentative enquiries to the Garrison GSM about holding a “proper” Dinner night in the Station WO’s and Sgts Mess. This met with a positive reaction, and we propose to hold said evening , probably in August.
One word of caution, though. The GSM pointed out that the Mess is for Sgts and above. That said, Civilians have no rank, and provided they behave accordingly there should be no problem in them attending.
I would request returns per e-mail of people and numbers interested in attending. It will be black tie/dark suit/evening dress, so people should bear this in mind.
