Time Table

Junior’s Year 5
Monday: -     1730-1900                             Cost € 1.00
Aim: To develop Young People’s understanding of issues that may affect them i.e. bullying, the environment and the absence of a parent. This is achieved by enhancing their learning of skills by using play elements such as arts & crafts, IT skills, sports and music.

 

Inter’s Years 7 + 8
Monday: -     1830-2030, Tuesday: -        1830-2030                   Cost € 2.00
Aim: To develop programmes to enhance learning opportunities, raise self esteem, create positive attitudes and encourage active participation in our community.

 

Senior’s Years 9+
Wednesday: - 1900-2100              Cost € 1.00
Aim: To actively involve senior members in becoming peer educators, and increasing their knowledge and skills of the wider community.

 

Junior’s Year 6
Thursday: - 1730-1900                               Cost € 2.00
Aim: Same as Year 5 (Mondays)

 

Seniors & Volunteers Project Night                               Cost (Free)
Friday: - 1800-2000
Aim: To develop training programmes to enhance skills, knowledge and awareness of issue based work, within youth work.

Gutersloh Garrison Youth Forum Year 7+
The forum meets on the last Wednesday of every month on a local level. Bi-monthly garrison wide meetings are held at Kings school.

Aim: To create a platform for Young people to represent their peers and community. This is to ensure that the voice of Young People is representative of their local community and issues.

 

Anglo-German Work
Aim: To develop joint working relationships that encourages integration with both German and British communities, and to exchange knowledge skills and resources for the benefit of everyone.

 

P.S.H.E. School Work
Aim: To support the PSHE elements. This will ensure that Young People receive joint approach of service, to support learning outcomes for Young People by using youth and education curriculum.

 

Holiday Activities
Time: - Half-Terms, summer, Easter
Aim: To create a safe and fun environment for Young People to participate in structured programmes, such as arts & crafts, trips to theme parks, residentials, sports awareness and special projects.
This promotes self awareness and confidence whilst having fun.

 

Awards Work
Aim: To give all Young People opportunities to gain credit for any involvement in their development – personal or social.

YOUTH AND COMMUNITY AIMS TO CREATE A SAFE ENVIONMENT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE TO DEVELOPMENT OF SELF CONFIDENCE AND SELF ESTEM BY OFFER OPPORUTUNITIES TO ENHANCE LEARNING THROUGH A INFORMAL SETTING THIS WILL BE DONE WITH THE SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE FROM VERY POSTIVE STAFF
