Bielefeld Station works within Gutersloh Garrison. Within the Station, 7 Transport Regiment RLC shoulders the lion's share of Station Support tasks, with all units in Station providing support in different ways.
The primary and pre-school for Bielefeld is on Catterick Barracks, Bielefeld Primary The secondary school, King's School is situated on Mansergh Barracks, Gutersloh. A 30 minute bus journey.
The Station has many amenities these include a gym, Medical and Dental centre, Naafi food store, Red Shield café and paper shop, hairdressers, travel agent, a well stocked PRI shop plus much, much more.
The major unit Welfare Officers are 7 Transport Regiment RLC and 24 Regiment RLC
